Estas pinturas contêm uma ambivalência de significados. O olhar deambula pelas suas características, adquirindo uma dimensão subjetiva, sujeita á interpretação de quem a vê.Surge uma figuração insólita, o objeto não é distorcido, porém possui composições aparentemente abstratas que lhe libertam o carácter representativo, retirando-lhe o referencial, desprovendo-o de qualquer função icónica. Surgem assim paisagens irreais que possuem uma atmosfera em torno das pinturas, uma espécie de contaminação entre o corpo e a paisagem.

These paintings contain many meanings. The eye wanders by its features, gaining a subjective dimension, performed by the beholder.

 The objects aren’t distorted, but have apparently abstract compositions which release their representative character, stripping them of the reference and depriving  any iconic role. This results in unreal landscapes which have an atmosphere around paintings, a kind of contamination between the body and the landscape (translated to Portuguese as “O Corpo e a Paisagem”).
